Namibia is reacting to the third wave of the corona pandemic with further measures. They are initially valid until July 15th. Round trips of tourists in the country are still possible.
Namibians are only allowed to travel from region to region with a special permit. Alcohol may only be sold four days a week and restaurants are only allowed to offer take-away meals. The curfew starts one hour earlier, at 9 p.m., but continues to end at 4 a.m.
Basically nothing changes for tourists. Regardless of whether they are vaccinated or not, they still need
• a negative PCR test, not older than 7 days
• two completed health forms
• travel health insurance, also for Covid treatment
• pre-booked travel programme
